I find it interesting that the media portrayed the Canadian gold medal winning skeleton champ as a "fun loving character" when he was wandering the streets of Whistler chugging beer from a jug (this has got to be against the law in BC). But when a few of the women's hockey players have a few sips of beer in an empty hockey arena they are painted as engaging in disgraceful behavior. It is disappointing to see how double standards continue to be alive and well in this country and how our media continually put boosting ratings/readership ahead of all else. Shame on the Canadian media.
