"Last week, tickets were a dollar a piece, he said." But for Thursday's game between the Sox and Twins, he was raking in double their face value.
Three hours before the first pitch, only nosebleed seats in the upper deck were left at the Twins box office.
"The lower level sold out a week ago,'' said ticket seller Jamie Wurtz. But most people coming to her window Thursday took what they could get. "They say just want to be inside for the atmosphere,'' Wurtz said.
