ON FRIDAY...A FAST MOVING CLIPPER SYSTEM MAY BRING UP TO AN INCH
OF SNOW TO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...AND WEST

QUICK INCH OF SNOW TO PARTS OF THE AREA. NORTHWEST WINDS AT SPEEDS
IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN MINNESOTA NEAR SUNRISE
ON SATURDAY...SPREADING TO THE REST OF MINNESOTA AND WEST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN DURING THE DAY. AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP AS THE WINDS INCREASE IN SPEED...WHICH WILL REDUCE
VISIBILITIES...ESPECIALLY IN THE OPEN AREAS OF WESTERN AND SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA.
A DRAMATIC DROP IN TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE FRONTAL
PASSAGE...WITH TEMPERATURES DROPPING FROM NEAR NORMAL LEVELS...TO
WELL BELOW ZERO. WITH THE HIGHER WIND SPEEDS...WIND CHILL READINGS
WILL DROP TO DANGEROUS LEVELS...LESS THAN 25 BELOW...ON SATURDAY
