Thankfully, we sometimes have slow news days. It's days like these that allow for important questions of life to be pondered, like the following: how come no-one ever says "bada boom bada crash" instead of "bada boom bada bing?" After all, the "bing" would be a sound that would be made if one lightly tapped a ride cymbal, and every drummer should know that you don't strike a ride cymbal (at least that's what my drummer friends tell me). Instead, we think of a "crash" cymbal being struck at the end of a punch line. Besides, a"crash" makes the point better than a "bing" anyways.
